- This tour is suitable for dynamic people that enjoy discovering new itineraries off the beaten track, appreciate good food and wine and travelling about in small groups. At the arrival you will be welcomed by our tour guides that will take you across the entire journey. The tour will take place by mini-bus GT, 4×4 jeep, sailing boat, and quad motorbike. The number of participants is usually relatively small so that the journery will be cared for in all its details. The 4 star hotels, situated in one spot as the departure base, are strategically positioned between the coast and the inland of the Gallura and Barbagia regions. Furthermore, you will have plenty of occasions for tasitng local food and wine at the restaurants and the agriturismo.
1ST DAY OLBIA – BUDONI
Arrival at Olbia. The tour guide will welcome you and transfer by mini-bus to the Hotel in Budoni, room allocation, welcoming drink and breefing on the programme of the journey. Welcome dinner, piano bar and overnight stay.
2ND DAY JEEP-DAY IN THE BARBAGIA
Breakfast at the hotel. Guided excursion by 4×4 jeep to the Supramonte of Oliena in the Barbagia: the wildest and most unspoilt area of the island. Outdoor lunch with local products roasted pork and veal, salami, ham, cheses, cannonau wine and stream water. Guided tour of a Nuragic village. In the afternoon wine tasting of the Cannonau wine produced in Oliena, called the Nepente. Return to the hotel in the evening, dinner at a typical restaurant of the area. Overnight stay.
3RD DAY SAILING TOWARDS TAVOLARA
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer by mini-bus to the port of Ottiolu. From here we will embark on a fantastic cruise sailing across the Parco marino of Tavolara and Molara. The island of Tavolara, a 500 metres high rocky mountain, with wonderful beaches and clear waters. Stop for on board lunch, bath and return to the hotel in the evening. We will take a relaxing break and then transfer for dinner to a restaurant on the Costa Smeralda to taste their specialities (usually fish). Nnight promenade at the popular piazzetta of Porto Cervo. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
4TH DAY QUAD-DAY ON THE EMERALD GRANITE
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer by mini-bus to the Costa Smeralda, the most popular area of Serdenia, mother-land of the worldwide jet-set, with its prestigious hotels, elegant boutiques and impressing granite landscapes, fragrant smells of the Mediterranean forest that from the hills reaches the beaches and the crystal waters…Excursion by Quad motorbike, that can adapt to all sorts of territories: from the sand to the rocks. Quads are the perfect transport if you like to be the protagonist of each experience, having fun, being completely safe. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
5TH DAY SAILING ACROSS LA MADDALENA ARCHIPELAGUS
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Palau by mini-bus with tour guide. From here we will embark on a journey across the national park of the La Maddalena archipelagus. The archipelagus is composed of 20 islands, La Maddalena is the biggest of all, Caprera is the island where Garibaldi’s house-museum can be found. The island of Budelli is famous for its pink sandy beach, the Spargi island for its white sand beach and its incredibly clear water, Razzoli is known for its rocks. Amongst the magical shapes of rocks modelled by the wind and water, we will stop at various points of the natural pools, for a sailing day in total relax in one of the most amazing sceneries in the world. Lunch on board and return to the hotel in the evening. Dinner ( local fish dishes) in the evening at a local restaurant. Overnight stay at the hotel.
6TH DAY RELAX-DAY IN THE HEART OF GALLURA
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer by mini-bus to the centre of Gallura with tour guide. We will get to the Monte Limbara where many villages famous for the extraction and work of cork with the most important Experimental Station in Italy, (guided tour). We will then visit the town of Luras and the ethnographic museum of Galluras, with about 3000 objects exposed in an ancient palace of the time. The next stop will be Monte Pulchiania: the biggest stone of the island surrounded by incredible landscapes. Typical lunch with Gallura’s dishes at the agriturismo in Luroa or Luogosanto. This village is famous for the architecture of its buildings, in grey granite stone. Possibilitiy for wine-tasting at a local cellar of vermentino d.o.c of the Gallura. Return to the hotel in the evening, dinner and overnight stay.

7TH DAY BUDONI – OLBIA
Breakfast at the hotel, free time and brunch in the late morning. We will taste some local cheses and/or have lunch (depending on the depart5ure time). Return to Olbia by mini-bus. End of services.
